Allie Sauppé

I am an assistant professor in the Computer Science department at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. Previously, I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2015, where I was a research assistant with the Human-Computer Interaction Lab in the Computer Sciences department. I worked with my advisor, Bilge Mutlu, to design more effective collaborative behaviors to enable robots to work alongside humans.

Prior to my Ph.D. work, I also earned my Masters in computer science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2011 and my Bachelors in computer science and software engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2009. While in undergrad, I took the opportunity to minor in Japanese language and can still order from my favorite Japanese donut shop when I visit.
